Life of Death

When I was small
Mum used to give me bear hugs
She stayed silent then
I haven’t spoken to her for some time
She is still and Dad became my hero
The understanding man
He is the inventor made of earth
That silent time treads softly
Dad says it’s not the case
But old whisky left lying in the bedroom
And meetings in the morning
It’s otherwise
Me and sis
And sis recently engaged
We will be silent once more
And in time, we will also be left
Lying in the bedroom
Meeting in the morning.

Kid Android

Sublime
Undefined
Executed
Its my eyes
Floor-filled
Sound-blinded
Cypher-sighted

Two Thousands

In old age they rage
Effervescent, but
Locked out and lonely
Romantic notions
Emotions in new homes
Family ties
Wide sad eyes
They said to stay
Time passed in silence
Golden silence
Old age
Still young
Memories full
Tears on the soft floor
Dance partners
Family roams
Business always brought home
You care
You love them
You miss them
They are real inspiration
Interesting lessons
Lifetime experienced
Unconditional
Not requiring entertainment
Just the expression
You are not forgotten.
