Ocean Crossers

The greatest days of my life
Were spent elated
In the realisation of love
It was an adventure begun alone
Inevitably shared
Knowing you are gone
And knowing pain would follow
Completes cliches outside competing hearts
Beating fast hearing foreign stories
This is my new future
This was not foreseen
With the best memories fresh in my mind
I am now an aimless body
I don’t know what to think anymore
What is the point here again?
I feel like I found something far more important
Far, far more important
Someone the same
A quiet consolation
And whilst it is surely a question of when not whether
Meeting again is a matter of painful patience
So waiting is the balancing price
Patience played off against pride
My perspectives are altered again
Know what is best though
Push on, for if not dead before
It will be all the more worth it
Trust in time
This is impermanence
This is change
This is the way this wonderful world works
Before those days you never knew
Now rest assured in the knowledge
That you know her
And that in time
Love will really find a way.

Any choice is a wise one

Without concern for honour
I love freedom.
So here I am
In a new room
Encouraging freedom.
You must be free
You are a smiling and free human being
What a fantastic life
If I could see through your eyes
I would be viewing happiness
So be free!
If love
Then free
If in love
Then share brilliant freedom!

Coping with change

Naked claims
Highest heights
Direct messages and meanings
Coarse phone lines
Grins and smiles
Laughter and memories
Dusty air
Coping with change.

Kala Ratri

To speak bluntly
I know love.
From now on I know love
It really is as great as history tells!
So to speak bluntly
I am utterly in love.
I love you
I want to marry you
I want to have children with you
I want to laugh and kiss and celebrate
No doubt there is duhkha ever present
But with right approach, happiness can be all-encompassing
So surely we have found our right approach
Our skillful means
Our middle way.
We are equal and happy
We are sure
Sometimes stoic
Sometimes passionate
We are sure who we are
And what we want.
But now we are in the hands of time
That ever-present force
She will drive forward relentlessly.
So this is our night of time
What will happen when morning comes?
Will she keep us together?
You know I am hoping

Shes returning to the states.

So
Sure enough
How can you not love the woman of love?
This I have learned
With knowledge and expression of self-identity
One day we will stand shoulder to shoulder
Freely in love.

Yarke Dawa Nyis (Summer’s Two Months)

What did you ever want from love?
Whatever and whenever
Soon enough we will be saying goodbye
Once again goodbye to love
But from the moment I woke up
Under the cold of the fan
I knew you were the girl
Tsamling gi tsangma
Nga la khyering cigpo kapo yod
Danda yod ma red na
Dagarang nyima cig
